I can't go into any detail, due to my husband and his blog-reading ways, but here are some sneaky peeks at a few of the things I have on the go in my sewing room right now.
I'm yet to actually finish most things, other than the three necklaces which were a custom order for someone else to gift. The gold spandexy thing is done too, but it's all hush hush until Christmas when I can take photos of it in use and have the full effect.
The list above my sewing machine is now, mostly, just finishing touches. Oh, and a few things for my nephew and niece-or-nephew-to-be, but they shouldn't take too long. Phew! And, luckily, most of the buying is complete too.
How are you getting on?

He he...just switched off the sewing machine now after I heard mister Jarvis waking up next door! I've just finished sewing a little mei tai carrier for a really cute little doll he's getting for Christmas (it actually looks a lot like him...super cute), he'll be able to tear around on his ******* (Just in case he somehow reads what I write!) with his new little friend tied to his back...
ReplyDeleteAlso FINALLY managed to finish my sister's Christmas pressies, and knock up a couple of pairs of pants. Whew!
Haha, I think I recognise that gold spandexy stuff ~ glad to see it's got some use!
ReplyDeleteI've still got a few things to make, and all of the buying is done now.
Can't wait to see what all your goodies are!
Oooh I love love love those necklaces... if only by some Christmas magic they turn out to be for me ...
ReplyDeleteWow, that looks incredible! what is it that you are making from ziggy zaggy sewing, paper eyes and rope thingies. you are so clever. Nice to meet you, from another Kiwi mum who lives in Oakland, USA. Just been back to New Zealand for two weeks and was amazed how crafty!
