Happy Anniversary!
Two, incredible, years ago today I was having the best day of my life, and marrying someone pretty darn awesome.
We stood under a giant Totara tree, promised to be each others number one fan, and to keep each other fed (me) and warm (him). We exchanged rings, and a bit of a pash, too. Then we partied it up with (most of) our loved ones, ate cake and smiled great big smiles.
The past two years have been wonderful, Abraham. And I still love you just as much, if not more, than I did on that day (and on the day we first started going out, nearly ten years ago!). You're my favourite flavour of chips, my best friend and my 'one'. Thanks for being the bestest husband, and father-of-our-kids EVER.
Love you, bro!

List #'s 7 and 10!
In the weekend I managed to tick two more things off the list.
Abraham and I decided, nearly two years after the actual day, that maybe it was finally time to print some of our wedding photos. The girl at the shop couldn't believe I hadn't printed even a single one, she said most girls are in the next day! I guess I just didn't get round to it. We were going to have them printed 'properly' at the photo shop so I was waiting until the wedding bills were paid, and then Otto arrived.. and then it was last weekend.
I'm really stoked with our 14c Harvey Norman prints, and the cute $20 album from Farmers. Seems a lot more 'us' than the fancy pants option.
I also bought an external harddrive to back up all of our photos. My Dad was buying one, getting a good discount, and I thought 'if ever there was a time..'
Feeling very pleased with myself. Now to buy some shoes and plan a childless night...

Dog obedience.

This evening Abraham and I went on a bit of an impromptu picnic.
We were lucky enough to have Abrahams aunty ring at five and offer to watch the boys this evening. Naturally, we jumped at the chance.
We packed up some plates, cutlery, a picnic blanket and salt (very important!), picked up takeaways from our favourite Indian restaurant and tried to decide where to eat them. You forget how many choices there are when you're child-free!
We ended up back at a spot we used to spend a lot of time when we first met (9 years ago next month!), it was quite surreal to be back there at such a different time in our lives. We sat and watched the sun set, ate our delicious chicken madras and talked about old times, present times and future times. We talked about our beliefs, about our blessings and about our relationship. It was a glorious way to spend the evening and it reminded me that we really need to do it more often.
Let the date nights roll!
